Vacuum
This might be a stupid question but are the gas pedals on the 24v done by vacuum? I know on the PSD they are vacuum.

Yer tellin me a Ford diesel powerstroke uses vac to operate the go pedal?? What year is it?? And what the h*ll u doin driving it??? <br>Friends don't let friends drive Ferds................

'02 Because I can either drive that or a gaser until i get the money for my truck. Atleast Im driving a hop'd up diesel... right?

Yeah I hear ya but in the 15 years I was in the trade and 10 I worked for F*rd I never ever saw a go pedal that ran by vac. I left in 2000 and the PSD then were FIPL operated (Fuel injection pump lever), which was a potentiometer attached to the pedal in the truck feeding info to the PCM. OBD II changed the name don't remember what it is called now tho. They always felt like they were dead for the first inch or so. My last F*rd was a '98 and it had the FIPL sensor. I guess they changed something in 2002??
