Vacuum pump oil feed woes
Ok, I finally got off my lazy butt and replaced my worn out steering pump and replaced the seals in the vacuum pump while I had it all apart. In the process of doing that I had to take off the oil feed at the bottom of the vacuum pump. Its got a flare adapter 90 degree elbow with a connection to a steel braided line. I had to loosen the connection at the braided line to rotate the thing a bit and now when I go to tighten it up its about 90 degrees out so it twists up the braid and probably restricts the oil line.
How is this thing connected? The elbow just keeps spinning in the connector. I dont know if its a swivel type or if its just rusty.. seems pretty loose to me. The line goes up to a fitting on the side of the block that looks like its going to be a real bear to get at. Im hoping cummins sells a replacement line.. looks like a cummins part.

Anyone done the vacuum pump and noticed if the oil feed line has a swivel on the elbow or if it is threaded into the steel braid section? mine is sticking out about 1/16" and Im worried it could pop out.. also worried about the grief of replacing it
