Im looking for a 47re to rebuild for my truck, i have found one locally from a
V10 for $750 that is still in working order. Is the transmission from a V10 a good candidate for a cummins rebuild? and what is a fair price for this transmission?

For a core it should be fine. There's no difference in that aspect.

I sold my 47rh with 160k on it for $700. So thats a decent price, i'd try to get it for like 5-600 though.

Yeah im not going to use it for a core persay, im going to rebuild it and then swap it into my truck. So will it still work for that?
