"upfitter" switches?
Hey guys, I know there is a switch kit available for the Fords that they call "upfitter" switches. They fit in the truck to look factory. Anybody know if they make a similar kit for our Dodges? I need to run some emergency lights for road side service and it'd be nice to make it look factory.
Thanks,
Nick

The "upfitter" switches look factory because they are. You can look around and find some switches that look good but you'll likely never find anything that looks as close to factory as the ones for the Ford because they are made and installed on the assembly line. Cant get any more factory than that.

I would love to find switches that look like the factory heated seats buttons, so that i could hook my driving lights, and turbo timer there

Just push a button like mine.
I guess I should keep my mouth shut though, because I don't have the time to make another unit right now.

Built it out of some aircraft aluminum, and bought the switches from wal-mart. They have now been changed out with illuminated switches of different colors to identify their use for the spousal half. Painted it to match the truck. bent it to use the factory screws that held the cubbie that used to be there. Makes it nice because you can run the wires under the dash and through the same holes as the wiring harness's for the entire console.
