Updated timing gear torque spec

I am working from a five year old Chilton book, and have looked around DTR for the updated torque spec with no luck can someone post it for me.

Thanks

Re:Updated timing gear torque spec

Just remember to clean the pump shaft AND the inside of the gear before reassembly. Also make sure they are dry too. Something like BRAKLEAN works fairly well.

Re:Updated timing gear torque spec

I use blue loctite and set at 150 foot lbs. The loctite lubes the threads and results in the same torque as the 160 lbs dry. I have never had one come loose with the loctite either.
