Unplugged weather pac connector

On my 96 I have a weather pac connector coming out of the stock harness right in front of my air intake going into engine. It is bundled with the wires coming from the speed sensor and large wire harness on right side of valve cover in the front of engine. I have looked all over for where the plug connects to with no luck. Any ideas? It's a two wire plug....

I grabbed this picture of the net. You can see the plug directly behind the oil fill on the leading front edge of the intake manifold. Silver in color. This truck looks like it has a capped plug that goes into the connector???

I believed it is used on the EGR California engines, otherwise it is not used.

Mine is also like yours.

Tom thanks for the reply. I was thinking in those lines. I should at least cap it off or tape it up.
