Underhood Run-Acc hot circuit

I need to locate a Run-Acc hot circuit under the hood that I can tap into to trigger a relay. Anyone have any suggestions?

You mean one that's hot only when you turn the key on or to the Accessory position? If so, those I believe are all located in the in-cab fuse panel in your 2001--I think all the circuits in the under-hood fuse panel are hot all the time (like head lights, horn, etc.)

For my key-on stuff I tapped one of the circuits in the in-cab panel and then ran it through a penetration in the firewall where a big wire bundle comes through near the steering column.
