U-joints??

I let a buddy borrow my W350 to pull a heavy load (16ft. trailer w/lumber). When I drove it last it had a shudder at about 70-75mph. Seems like a u- joint issue. Is there any way to diagnose for sure without throwing parts at it? Could it be something other than a u-joint?
Thanks in advance.

Go under and look at them and see if any have more slack in them than the others. Maybe pump in a little grease and see if that helps.

Drive it around for a while then feel them. If they are burning to the touch, replace them. Mine I just did. Had a shudder between 20-35, did the above method. I started at the rear and moved forward. The rear shoulda been glowing red, it was that hot. The second was not much better. The front one felt like ice compared to the rear 2. When I changed them out, I had 2 caps with dust in them in the rear one and the middle one had only one that grenaded. The biggest roller bearing part was probably 1/32" big
