Well since im having my axles ripped apart and re-done i'd like to address the u-joints also, all of them, what company has the best u-joints that could handle some punishment?

Front driveshaft Cardan H joint (takes 2) Precision #232
Front driveshaft @ front axle (takes 1) Precision #235

Nick,
Some of those part numbers have changed since I wrote that a long while back.
Best thing to do is just buy the complete front driveshaft as an assembly.
Also go to www.rockauto.com and find the correct u joint for your truck.

There are several companies that make heavy duty u-joints, but I don't know what fits our trucks. You can check out Dana Spicer or Ox U-Joints and see if something will bolt up. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Nick for what you are doing the Precisions from Napa or Rock auto are more than enough.

My vote is for Dana Spicer. I only run them, the Ox and CTM are for off road use only. They are not designed for constant use. Unless you convert the front end to manual hubs.
then again i have been known to be wrong.

Aren't the 03+ axles AAM, so Spicer wouldn't make anything to fit them, correct?
