U-Joints, looking for beefy ones
Well since im having my axles ripped apart and re-done i'd like to address the u-joints also, all of them, what company has the best u-joints that could handle some punishment?

I just looked into precision u-joints and found this on another thread
I read a guy with a 600 hp truck who did sled pulling was ok with his u-joints i just need verification these are right for an auto truck?
Rear driveshaft 2 Piece precision (takes 3) Precision #295
Front driveshaft Cardan H joint (takes 2) Precision #232
Front driveshaft @ front axle (takes 1) Precision #235
Front Axle U joints LEFT AND RIGHT (takes 2) #464

Some of those part numbers have changed since I wrote that a long while back.
Best thing to do is just buy the complete front driveshaft as an assembly.
Also go to www.rockauto.com and find the correct u joint for your truck.

There are several companies that make heavy duty u-joints, but I don't know what fits our trucks. You can check out Dana Spicer or Ox U-Joints and see if something will bolt up. Good luck and let us know what you find.

ctm only makes for dana 44 and 60..
Dana Spicer or Ox U-Joints = both not out yet
and on rock auto there are many choices, i really have no idea what to use cuz many of them say premium or high strength??

My vote is for Dana Spicer. I only run them, the Ox and CTM are for off road use only. They are not designed for constant use. Unless you convert the front end to manual hubs.
