What Twins kit fit and finish wise??

I'm currently in afganistan and want to get something for myself when i get out of here! i've been looking at Twins with like a S400 over stocker. i'm trying to keep my EGT's completely out of the need to monitor range and still keep my truck spooling close to stock or better. First thing i'm doing when i get home is the Flux 1's(or maybe 2's), the arson kit, a better filtration setup(airdog or raptor) and swap out the cortex for a smarty. i want the turbo setup waiting on those mods.

i've looked at D-tech(great price) and also i like wicked's twins setup a lot for what the money gets you. what are your impressions of the kits out there? i'm looking for something with pretty much a bolt on everything you need in one box deal. fit and finish are a big deal for me.
i'm looking to get to and stay in the 550ish hp range, no more i promise.

thanks for the input in advance. i've been reading a lot on here and CF for about 3 weeks about twins. still a lot to learn.

Brent

Yes sir, thank you for your service and get home safe.

For the goals you state, your plan is sound. Stock over s400 is a good setup for that power level.

There are a few folks out there that sell these setups now. Do some shopping, make a few calls and see who makes you happy... D-techs great price has enticed more than a few... but long term reviews are not all that. Be comfortable with the person taking your money before you buy. In the end, it is your stock turbo and a s400 (usually s475) that anyone can get... nothing special there. it is the piping and fit and finish that are the differences.

You could head up to Maryland and see Lloyd Mills from Mid Atlantic Diesel and he could set you up with what you want and i think he has his own powder coating machine so you can get what you want.
The twins you want should spool super fast so your goal of 550 hp should be easy to hit, i'm running a htt 62/71/13 over S475 and i think it spools quick.

Farmboy, i see you're from state college. that's where i grew up, and is still my old stomping ground for many weekends and football games. since being on here the past few weeks i have seen that mid atlantic diesel is right down the road from me so i may have to stop over and talk once i get back state side.

also thanks for all the input, i'm glad to see at least i'm thinking right about my setup.
