Twin Turbos
Hey guys just a quick question for you all, what is the benefit of twins? Will i lose fuel mileage, is it still good for pulling farm equipment? Iam thinking about a twin kit for my 6.7 from k2 diesel performance.com, will i be able to spin 37's on dry ground with this kit? Thanks in Advance.
Here is the kit

Spinning tires is going to be a result of fueling and the ability of your tranny to transmit the power... not twins.
You should lose no fuel mileage. With all the twins I have had, it has not affected mileage one way or the other.
If you can pull your farm equipment now, you'll be able to after as well. This twin kit uses your stock turbo and adds a s400 below. The advantage is being able to supply more air to support more fueling from a programmer or bigger injectors for more power and still keep things cool. If everything else is stock, you will see little advantage.

Not blaming you for wanting more power. Just gotta step in and bust chops and ask why you would want to spin 37s? My 33s are expensive enough...

I was able to tow this weekend for the first time with my twins, My set up is around 14K.I have been towing on my superB single for about a year or so, Night and day difference. I love the spool up on take off with the twins, truck is much more efficient on power.Trip was appox 400 miles round trip I averaged 13mpg, which appears to be up just slightly.

Well just wanna spin 37's when hanging with friends, i have Toyo M/t's and they are expensive, i tow just fine with stock turbo, but want to be able to hang with the friends street trucks, and 13 mpg, i average 18 now i hope it doesnt go down. I have 80hp sticks, southbend 3600 dd, fass 150, xrt, afe intake, bd intercooer, mp8, and thats it as far as i can think of, so how will i do with these twins.

With the sticks you have you will benefit from the twins... how much depends on tuning and what not... every truck is different. However, you will notice a pretty substantial difference. Get a smarty on there too and really wake it up.
