Twin turbos and the heat exchanger...

Any of you have a pic or 2 of where you relocated your heat exchanger when you installed twin turbos? Putting set on a friends truck and dont want to remove it, Have hear under the radiator support, did some searching and didnt find a whole lot of info, and all the pictures are no longer available. for me a pictures worth a thousand words...

I don't have any pics, but modified the stock bracket and welded 2 3/16" x 2" straps on so that the straps were overhanging on one side. Drilled four holes and located under the front cross member. Used rivnuts and got her mounted. From there, it was just routing coolant and trans lines.

Works like stock and is pretty well protected unless you plan on burying the nose off road.

I also looked at putting it under the truck, but too much of a hassle as all the connections are already in the front.

The bottom charger is going to be a s472, I have heard that some guys have been able to leave the exchanger in the stock location with the s400's, just need to grind the bracket a little or something, can anyone confirm this? if I cant we will probably put it under the x-member up front.

I left mine in place with a ht3b, just ground the mount a little. I made my own hotpipe so I made it fit... not sure how a kit would work with it.
