Twin CP3 ?'s

I installed the ATS's twin cp3's last wed, drove it and it seemed to run good. Then I hauled 14k up the mountain side to hunting camp. Now that I'm back down I've been playing with it and I've noticed that at WOT i'm only making 16890-18000psi with surges up to 21. When it surges I can feel a HUGE difference. I thought that it should be at 23 though. I can't tell you what I was making before because I installed the Quadzilla rail pressure gauge at the same time.

Also when I shut the truck down it seems to surge before it dies. Any ideas on both would be great.

There was no surging but installed the pressure gauge after the twins so I couldn't tell you what the difference was. Now I wish that I would have waited one more day and done the gauge first

WOT depending on if you run a pressure box/ injector size/ ETC should be above 21K AND UP TO 26k. a good spot is between 23-24 anything less and you may have issues. With dual pumps you should always see 23-24K or more at WOT. I know some guys running very big injectors but the dual pumps dont have any issues keeping up. Call ATS something is wrong.

What kind of fuel system are you running, and what kind of pressure are you seeing out of that at WOT. This may be your problem.

I have the glacier system with the 2 micron filter. I don't have the line pressure set up yet. The way that the twins are set up I have to find another place to put it in.... I'll try and get that hooked up today.

Also I talked to ATS and they think it's the reguator on the back of one of the pumps, so I'll try and get that checked out as well. Thanks for all of the replys so far and any more to come
