Will a turn down make it quieter?
I have a muffler delete and it sounds great... but my wife thinks it too loud when towing.. I have a 5" tip... will a 4" turndown make it quieter in the cab?

ive ran a few and I think they help keep smoke off the truck and your trailer. but you might get some echo off the ground. if I pulled any kind of trailer much I would have a turndown on my truck for sure

It will change the frequency of the noise, and if you turn it back instead of down it will definitly quiet it down a little bit. Now it might not take the drone away though...

Thats kinda what I thought... we do pull a TT, so I dont really want it covered in soot... and my Smarty Jr does blow a little more than stock...
