I have an 04 5.9L. Can i upgrade my turbo from one off an 05? Its larger than the one I have. Also is there a kit neded to change the waste gate from electronic to manual? Just looking at if this is possible or what I need to do to make the switch.

Yes you can; it is a worthwhile change on the cheap.

There is a thread around here somewhere on exactly how to accomplish this. It is not hard.
