turbo ring
#2
Purpose of it is to bring air into the turbo smoothly n unrestricted.
Removing it causes a dispurtion to the air flow, in turn creating a high pitch sound.
It is inside the turbo inlet, where the intake hose attaches. Its the metal conish shaped ring.
remove it if you wish. no one has taken the time to to back to back tests, so the only known difference w/ and w/out is noise.

I noticed zero performance diff when I pulled mine. and I was looking. I does make a better whine now. I saved the split ring and silencer just in case but I probably will never put it back in..Why?
