Turbo Problems
I just got back home from a 1100 mile trip with the truck, towing 5000 lbs to abilene then loading up my buddy's D-max hauling it to houston, so towing 12000 lbs. Pulled into houston and noticed truck didnt spool at all, when it did spool it would pour black smoke. The turbo will spool but about 35 lbs is max at WOT(normal is around 47-48 lbs) still pours smoke, disconnected the quad still does it. Is my turbo shot or what?? My fuel mileage is down a little bit as well.

Ok, I have to assume, which I hate doing... ... that you have the stock turbo. And you would normaly push it to 47-48lbs of boost??? If that's the case, you are way beyond what that turbo can handle. Stock is 32lbs. I ran my stocker to 40psi. I don't even push my Silver64 to the levels you are running the stock turbo. Even though I can.
What I'm trying to say is your turbo is probably toast. Sorry I couldn't spit it out quicker but I've been out in 95degree heat all day...

First just take the air intake off the turbo and see what it looks like in there. Sounds like you will be able to see or feel the problem if its the turbo.
I agree with the above, I did occasionally push my stock turbo to 40psi, but never for long and never with a load.

Once the intake is off, gently see if the compressor turbine will move in and out at all. Any movement front to back is not good. Thrust bearing is worn.
Gently move up and down. I don't know the specs but allowed movement is only a few thousands of an inch.

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere. 48psi is way to much for a stoker. A Tiny leak can cause your symptoms. I would check all of your boots for leakes this could be realy simple.

I agree with this also. It would need to be more then a tiny leak to drop 10-15 pounds of boost but start with the boots.

Look at the shaft...I bet you have forward/rear play in the shaft...and it is no longer "spinning" freely under drive load. Look for contact between the compressor wheel and housing.

Took the air cleaner off and checked the shaft, no back and forth play, a little up and down, not alot though. The check engine light came on after i checked the turbo. I have four new codes P-0251, P-0192, P-0107 and P-0073. Could one or all of these codes cause my problems? The last two codes flashed realy quick, does that mean anything?

Sounds like it could be turbo-related with the low manifold pressure, but the fueling problems are puzzling . . .
