Question To Turbo ot Not?? HX40

New to the board guys so if this has been asked before I'm sorry.
I have a 98 2500, I just installed a 4" turbo back system and a K&N Fresh air kit. I have a new HX40 turbo but I'm not sure I need it. I have been looking at the TST web site and they clame that with their throttle plate system you can have as much power as the drive train can handle. Is this true? What are the draw backs to there system if any? Any sugestions would be help full. I am looking for better 0-60 and fuel milage. The only thing I pull an a regular basis is my lawn care stuff about 2000lbs, trailer and equipment.
Thanks
Guy
P.S. Do I need a chip for the computer?

Welcome to the site! It would be helpful if you would fill out your sig that way we could know if you have a 12 or 24 valve.

Sounds like a 12 valve if he's talking about a throttle plate. I don't think you'll need the HX40. Maybe a 35/40 hybrid.

A hybrid is an HX35 exhaust & bearing cartridge with an HX40 compressor. With a hybrid you get the fast spool af a 35 with the added boost of the 40 and you don't need a new downpipe. The downfall is you loose the better flow of the larger (HX40) exhaust housing.
