Turbo Lag
Guy's what is the best way to eliminate turbo lag on a 95 12 valve truck?I have moded the injector pump with a 10# cam plate and a set of 3k gov. springs a 4 inch exhaust and a K&N filter I am getting ready to do the trans over and was wondering what other mods would get rid of the lag???

Loosen the star wheel, mine is completely lose, will give you more fuel to spin up turbo faster, thats all. Puff of smoke too. No HP increase though. Remove allen plug on top of afc, the wheel will click when turned with screwdriver. You will move the screw towards the radiator. Spring will loosen up.
Loosen the AFC top cover/housing (4 bolts) slide frontwards to the radiator. Mine is full forward.
Do you have a boost elbow?
Make sure you have egt/boost gauges to monitor all your mods....
A 0 plate semi forward will spin it up faster to, or will spin your wallet faster for a new tranny
