Turbo/ injector combo- what's best?
Just upgraded my tranny on my 2001 and now looking to add power to my daily driver. Looking for advise on the best set up for mainly hot roding 1/4 mile. I will be towing very light or not at all. I have an Edge comp and FASS.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I was accually trying to find out what turbo and injectors work well together with the comp box and FASS that I already have. I'm looking at injectors in the 150 hp range. This truck is my daily driver so it needs to stay streetable. Just trying to get some ideas.

If your building a hot rod truck for around town driving and towing go twins. A setup with the 40/3b works well or the 62/14 S400 is another hot set-up. Mach 6 would be too hot for towing in the hills.

I have run multiple configurations over the last few years. I just changed and think my current set up is exactly what I've been looking for.
I've had a Smarty, Comp, EZ, TST PM3, DD2's, DDP5+. The only thing I didn't run with my HTT 64/14 is the EZ.
What I'm running now is a Drag Comp, DDP 4's and the 64/14. It is a dream to drive! No more touchy go pedal, less smoke during daily driving and on the fly adjustability.

Very little lag, if any. I'm still in the "getting used to it" stage. I went from the Smarty and DDP5+, to the DC and DDP4's.
I haven't run any 1/4's and I'm not planning on it. But it moves very well! I'm trying to schedule a dyno session this next week, I'll post and pm the numbers when I get them.
I am extremely happy with this set up. Far and away the best that I have had.

No, the smoke was easily controlled. The biggest issues for me were with the Smarty's lack of adjustability on the fly and the touchy throttle. DDP injectors are great.

Which smarty setting you using? I found that using level 5 works just about as good as stock but with the some of the catcher. 7 is nice to, more smoke. How much smoke does the ddp5+ make? I have a set of ddp 62litre pre minute injector are they the same as your's? I just get a bit of smoke on spool-up. I can pull around the 70psi mark and just have a bit of haze. At sea level the smoke would be gone and nice daily driver.

Mike-
I was running on level 7 for most of the time, 5 during the winter and the last month or so, on 3.
The DDP 5+ was a 48 lpm. The big difference is your twins versus my big single. With my old set up and twins, I probably would have had to lug the motor to produce much smoke. With the single I could black out tailgaters with ease!
With my turbo (no twins in the future), the 40 lpm sticks I have now and the DC are a perfect combo.
62's? OMG! Thats alot of fuel!
