turbo and injector install . . . what to do?
Well I have wrecked my stock turbo and have a 62/68/14 on the way in the mail from Engineered Diesel.
For performance mods my truck has: RV275's, Smarty, TS-MVP, TST-PM3, aFe stg II, 4" TBE, built/billet 47re auto
To give a quick story - I installed the TST-PM3 and then wrecked the turbo on my FIRST test drive while NOT paying attention to my gauges. Everything else listed above had been on the truck for a while without any issues.
Now, I also have plans on installing some Mach 2 (105hp) Injectors which are sitting in the basement right now ready to go in. If it were you - would do the turbo and then follow with the injectors at a later time or just do it all in one day/install and be done with it?

Do the turbo install. Get it running. If you have time, then do the injectors. Doesn't really save any time doing it at the same time, other than you already have tools out and the hood open. Its always nice to trouble shoot problems with only one mod at a time and you can see what gave you a boost in power. Tough to say when you do two or more mods at the same time.

i know it would be nice to do one at a time for comparisons/troubleshooting sake. on the other hand it would be nice to just spend one day getting everything done.
maybe i'll get started on the turbo first thing in the morning, drive it and try it out, and then do the injectors later in the afternoon once i've got a good feel for how she drives . . .
BUT - it might be a good idea to torque down the stock head bolts prior to putting the turbo in so i can safely set my wastegate (if i'm doing the re-torque then i might as well do the injectors too . . .) hahahaha, IDK . . .

Personally, I would leave the head bolts as is. I don't know how many miles are on your truck, but I don't like disturbing older gaskets. Thats why I still haven't put the studs in my 12v. For the fuel you have, I almost guarantee that you won't have gasket issues if you leave the bolts alone.

In one afternoon you can get both done. I would guessing you'll into the low 40's for boost, if everything is working right and no boost leaks. RV275 are pretty small. I'm curious to see how the mach 2's work, as I have the dynomite 110's in my truck and run a garrett stage 2. What kinda of converter do you have? What kinda of stall is the TC at? You have 3.55 gears right? With mine, I can pull 20+psi of boost right off the intial start-up, almost instantly. I was showing Nickg (from the CF forum) up in Edmonton this week.
