TST problem

i just purchased a tst powermax with R49. I have 100 hp injectors cold air intake, bullydog powerpup, dual feed line and double disc clutch. for some reason when the truck is sitting there its fine. The second i try to drive down the road it shakes like its missin. I was told by someone with the same truck and chip that i was runnin the rail dry is this true? if so would putting a lift pump on it be ok or would i have to do an injection pump upgrade too?

Are you sure you have the crank and cam sensors on the right plugs? I would definitely be looking at you connections first. You are not running the rail dry at take off as you described unless you mean you put your foot to the floor and after it get going this issue starts....

You really need to fill out your sig so we know what truck you have. TST has some serious problems on some year trucks.

^^^^ what he said is very important to you.

On the fuel side, if you are runnin' 100hp injectors with a stock cp3... then you are most likely running the rail dry at WOT. In your situation a cp3 upgrade and fuel pump upgrade will go hand in hand... meaning you need both if both are stock still. 100hp stix can move a lot of fuel especially when you start adding some serious electronics. For 100hp stix, you will need a Floor it stage 3 or equivalent, and a fuel pump delivering about 80-90gph @15psi for a minimum. That is just a rough guess.

However, if this "miss" is happening even at low throttle input... you have some other issue too... but still need the fuel upgrade described above.

Click on the "USER CP" button in the top left of this page. You will be directed to your personal settings. Click on "Edit Signature" and list everything about your truck...

Does the TST run on 0/0? If not then you have not installed it correctly.

Press the little grey buton once and then up arrow. If it's a R49 with rail pressure, that should show you if your CP3 is up to the task or not. TST uses a lot of duration, with 100hp sticks, a little duration is going to make a huge difference.

I would say that you have the harness hooked up wrong/problem. There is no way your running the rail dry the second you try to move the truck.
Double and triple check your connections. By the way did you unhook the TST unit and try it without the box? Maybe when you hooked it up you may have damaged the trucks wiring harness.
Good luck,
Topper

On the tst website under the FAQs it says that you have a connection backwards.
