TST Powermax

Getting ready to buy the TST next week to stack with my BDPP. Already have a Pyro and Boost gauge. Any reason to buy the TST with gauges for $899, or just pick up the one without for $725? From reading the website, I see no point in spending the extra $$$$ for the TST with gauges, unlesss I am missing something. Anyone care to chime in?????

OK, I did some more research, and the 49 with gauges has the rail pressure gauge, which I was going to buy anyway. So, looks like I will be getting the PMCR R49AP. I was thinking of stacking that with my BDPP, but since I am going with the TST, Super Phat Shaft 66, Dual Feed Line, and Injectors, I do not see the point in have teh Bully Dog also. I think I will be making PLENTY of power with just the one box. So, I guess the Bully Dog is going up for sale.

By the way, on my 03 do I need a boost fooler? Or does the TST have that feature? Or is it the 04.5's and up need the boost fooler? If my 03 needs one, where can I pick one up? But if the TST does it for me, then

The TST should come with a boost fooler for 03 and 04 . The one good thing about getting the TST gauge is you can set your egt limit. I know it gives me piece of mind when I have someone driving my truck pulling a load
I have to say I do like looking at the mechanical gauges better.

I wouldnt get rid of the BD just yet, I would waite till I tried it with the tst and the tst without it.

The R49 gives you adjustable timin, the option of runnin 4 differnat programs,( early twins, late twins, standard, and economy) and egt and boost limits as well as a cool down time. I bought one after I already had all my guages and I think it was well worth them money.

OK guys, thanks for the comments, that is what I am looking for. About the BD, almost makes sense to keep it, as what I am seeing in the Classifieds, and then what I listed my BD for, I might as well as keep it. And now that I think about it, I feel like at $225 I am giving it away. So, that makes up my mind on that, I am taking it off of the Classifieds

However keep the TST comments coming, as I am buying today or Moday, and would like to hear as much as possible before I throw down that much coin.

Some Guys Love 'em Some Hate 'em (tst) It Depends On What Levels You Set Up.now It Has More Options Which Can Be Good, providing How You Set It Up And What Stacks You Add.finding The Perfect Match Is Not Always Easy, especially Taking Advise From Someone Else Who Has A Different Goal Than You, Or Slightly Different Truck.(alot Of Variables)

Dont stack them boxes and turn both of them way up, just start at the lower settings (mainly the tst) and work your way till u find a happy place for both!
