TST on level 9

hey i smashed my tst remote in the door a while back so im stuck with it on level 9..... got a pull this weekend is it goin to be ok to pull with it that high up last time i pulled i left it on 6..... just don't want to blow ne thing up thnx.

What do you have as far as a clutch that would be my only concern. I don't know that much about the comp box so don't quote me on this but from I have red it doesn’t adjust the timing on the 98-02 24v but it fuels really hard so I would also be worried about egt to but then again you don't know what will happen till you try you might have a great night. Also which remote do you have the you might be able to get a new one from them by then I've dealt with them and they have been nothing but good to me. hope all this helps.

It should be ok, I never made any more power on any level above 6 on the dyno, you'll just have more smoke and heat probably.

Without your remote your tst powermax 3 will revert to powermax 2 fueling so you're going to be just where you wanted to be for towing. Its on TST's page.

i've still got the remote and it still says level 9 on it.. just the buttons to increase and decrease the power on it won't work... should i just unplugg the remote then?

I thought it just stayed on the level it was last selected too by the remote.....

Just something I remember from when I was shopping for my TST. One phone call could add a level of certainty. To be fair I have not tried unplugging my remote so I could be wrong.
