TST+BDDL vs. TST+EdgeEZ

As most of you know I have been running the BDDL and TST for quite some time and have dynoed this combo quite extensively. Well, I temporarily traded the BDDL for an EZ last night to try it out. The smoke level is down considerably at low RPM but so is the power. But once the boost spools, the EZ/TST combo seems to make more power. I noticed the TST didn't have the popping in the upper RPM's on the higher settings like it does by itself or with the BDDL. I'm going to test it for a few more days and maybe do a dyno comparison. Does anybody have any dyno sheets of the TST/EZ combo on a 600 with the stock charger? Also I'm now debating on getting the Killer B2 or Sledpuller 66 insted of the B-1 I originally decided on. Any input on that????

WhiteSport600, I have had the original HTB2 and now the Killer B2-14 and think this is a ver good turbo my egt's really stay in check and spool up is really good, but for towing even with the redesigned compressor wheel I am still getting a surging problem in the 70 mph 15psi boost 1700 to 2000 rpm range. Paul at HTT is sending me out a new design turbo with the 66cm compressor to test for him, he is thinking that this will be the ultimate cure for the surging problems that some are having while towing, if you can wait just a couple more weeks I will put this turbo through it's paces and let you know. Happy Holiday's, Mike

The 66 is the Sledpuller I was talking about. He was wanting to give me a "special deal" to test the 66. It is supposedly able to handle much more than the B-1 and is about $500 cheaper with this deal... Oh, and the exhaust side is clipped. I like the Killer B2 but the surging has me worried.

If you do not tow you will not see or feel any surging, the Killer B rocks.
