I have to compliment the tst pmcr box because with only 10,000 miles with the box my trans took a dump and died . So you guys running tst and stock trans you need to becarful. So i think ill be selling Tst because i dont have enough self-control.

Just got it back from from the shop, 2,100 dollars total. Still under warranty of course. What would it cost to upgrade? And will it handle the hp and tq from the tst box?

Now that its back to 100% At least put a TC and VB in it. It would be in the range of about 1600-1700 in parts, but money well spent and it would handle the TST.

Ok, my question for now is this. Should i go ahead and put the tst back on and run it at a lower settion, or wait and upgrade the tranny and then put the tst on? If i put the tst back on now what setting would i be safe to run it at without doing any damage?

I was running it on 5-7 off and on, powerbrackin alot to go with it. I dont know witch one caused it. Probably both i assume. The trans lasted about 5 days once i noticed it not locking up in overdrive. Burned of all the clutches plus some other stuff.

im not familiar with the hp/tq rating on the tst, how much hp/tq is setting 5-7 suppose to give? i am wanting a box, probably an EZ but want to make sure i dont get too much power for my tranny...

On setting 5 its about 100 hp and on setting 7 its about 140 hp. Give or take a little.

And who do i need to get with to upgrade the tc & vb on the tranny? I see ats mentioned around here, but who in texas do i need to talk to?
