Hey everyone,

I have a 99 ram 2500 extended cab, shortbed. I have had it for a little over a year now. Ever since I have owned it I would put 13 gallons in it when the fuel light came on. Now my( I'm guessing) sending unit has gone out. Well while searching I read my truck should have a 34 gallon tank. How big of a tank do I realy have??

Thanks

I might be wrong but I think you have a 34 gallon tank. Why are you only putting 13 gallons in it? Are you saying it won't hold anymore?

Ever since I bought my truck that's when my truck said it was empty. So my thought is is that my sending unit has been bad

Be glad you aren't like most of them that show 1/4-1/2 a tank when they are in fact empty.

Just gotta approach it with a glass half full mentality....
