truck won't crank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reinstalled a banks powerpack back into my 99 dodge. Tapped the wire and piggy back the to EZ. Now truck won't start. Turns over fine. Ran fine before I reinstalled the Banks. Pump is pumping. Plenty of fuel to the filter. Only noticed a little fuel in back 3 injectors. Showing code P1688. Need help..... Is it time for another Vp44.

I'll give ideas as I have no experience with Banks powerpack but if they are both timing boxes I've been told no good to stack them together.

P1688
Internal Fuel Injection Pump Controller Failure

Also not good.

Good luck

Wish I could help more but here is a bump.

disconnect the banks stuff and see if the truck starts. if it does then you know its a problem in the wiring connectors. if it doesnt then you know that the modifications have fried the electronics in your vp44.

i looked in chrysler data sheets and i couldt find that code for your truck but i found code P-1689 which might be similar since similar problems are in order of code. this is what it says

P-1689 NO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN ECM & INJECTION PUMP MODULE
(OBD II)

When Monitored: Ignition on.
Set Condition: Time between CAN messages > 3 seconds.Or Fuel Injection Pump Module
does not receive CAN message.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
FUEL INJ PUMP GND CKT OPEN OR HIGH RESISTANCE
FUEL PUMP CTRL MOD HARNESS OBSERVABLE DEFECT
DATALINK (+) CIRCUIT OPEN
DATALINK (+) CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
DATALINK (-) CIRCUIT OPEN
DATALINK (-) CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
ENGINE CONTROL MODULE DEFECTIVE

hopefully this helped
