Could some tell me if theres any , lowering kit (rear spacer blocks) for the Dodge 02 3500 4x4, bad me i never really paid much atention to just how tall the truck was when i bought in jan 02, me and my wife live full time in are 5th and have been in nevada awhile now, were in a full time park, anyway the old truck was 54in from ground up to top bed rail worked fine. Our new truck 02 ,oh how i enjoy my truck. and after reading from all of you, that have the 03 i can only wish/hope and make payments and think about those quite road trips :'( > Anyway back to the question Are new truck is 60in from ground to top bed rail. just a little bit to high for most tralers, This wouldnt be a problem, if i was just going to use it to pull our 5th, id just flip the axles, but i was thinking on leaseing to one of those rv transport companys, and to do that i would need to get back to a standerd height. can any one help me on this, i have thought of going to a machine shop and cutting some inchs off the spacer blocks but would perfer to do job right. thxs TnT Tom and Tammy

Ps anyone with any info on rvtransporting, like is there any money in it or are the deadhead miles a killer. would be of a great help ty

This may not help you, TnT, but let me throw it to you, anyway -- I put a 2.5 inch lift kit in the front of my '02 3500 4x4 (two Skyjacker springs available from National Tire & Wheel in Wheeling, WV, for about $140; nothing else needed), and I found that by "levelling out" the front end in relation to the rear end, the new angle-of-departure was such that the rear body dropped by a couple inches -- bumper, hitch, and bed. Don't know if that's enough -- but it looks better, handles better, and supports that heavy CTD up front better. So even if it doesn't work for you, it wouldn't be wasted money and effort.

GP
