Ok so my friend was outside and i guess the squeek is coming from the rear of the truck. It sounds like a rubber squeek sound not metal. I mainly hear it in reverse but if i listen carefully and windows are down I can hear it very slightly in forward too. It is speed related, braking doesn't affect the sound.

Any ideas?

is the squeak only while in drive or can you shake the truck and make it squeak? What about neutral and rolling?

Have an occasional squeak from the rear of my truck too that took me ages to track down. Finally found the source by having a heavy guy bounce the bed up and down while I lay underneath. On my truck, one spring has moved sideways to the front hanger bracket and is rubbing up against the bracket.
Jacked up the truck, loosened the u bolts and tried to move the spring sideways, but it is locked in the the center bolt. Finally hammered a wedge between the bracket and the spring to move it over as much as possible and tightened up everything. The spring stayed centered for a few hours and then rubbed again.
Now that I know the source of the squeak I am not too worried about it. One day when I get some time intend to make a teflon washer to go between the spring and the bracket. Yes, I know this is fixing the symptom, but in this case, why not?

I had a similar problem with a car a few years ago. Real annoying squeak. I could only hear it when moving slow. I checked everything (or so I thought) more than once.

Then I discovered a loose wheel weight. Tightened that up, and the squeak was gone.

havent tried making it squeek standing still. will try that after i move the tree that almost fell on it yesterday morning. i guess hi winds knocked down neighbors tree and luckily it hit a tree in my yard that took most of the hit but i still cant see the back of my trailer due to luckily smaller branches (1 inch or so dia). will try neutral rolling also.

when the rain stops i'll get underneath and see what i can with springs but my initial superficial look didn't see anything out of place or recently moved like shiny metal/rubber or whatever.

never thought about wheel weights and i did just have a screw/patch done on a rear tire too.

thank you guys very much for the ideas and i'll get out there and post what i find.
