Chuck Norris doesn't sleep, he waits

The boogieman checks under his bed everynight for Chuck Norris

There was a sick horse one day and chuck Norris said that he would nurse this sick horse back to heatlh. Well for weeks and weeks CHuck Norris nursed this horse taking it food and water everyday. Well finally one day he went out there and the Horse was fine running in the field and was 100 percent. CHuck Norris went up the the horse and did a spinning round house kick and killed the horse. Chuck Norris then turned and said "Chuck Norris Give ith, Chuck Norris taketh away".

This is the first pull that doesn't let you drink. Most the pulls encourage guys to drink so all them hillbillies will think thier truck is the toughest truck around and get out there and hook it up. But I guess for insurance reasons it's good that everybody doesn't.

I couldnt get any info today on the pull in Marshfield but I'll keep tryin for times, classes, etc., tomorrow by calling Baillie and a few other locals that go to our church. Here is the Directions:

Your final destination is the Fair grounds/ better known as Ellis O Jackson Marshfield Park. Highway cc/AKA E Hubble Dr, goes right passed the fair grounds.

From I44: Marshfield is exit 100, Go to the top of the ramp and head right down spur dr/AKA 38 Hwy.

The road will split at the light stay left on 38 and follow it through the road construction about 1/2 mile until the road ys again stay left which turns into CC hwy/AKA W Hubble Dr. Follow that road about a mile and a half and look to the right for N Marshall St. Your there.

Directions from 38 hwy/AKA Commercial st. Turn right on Pine st follow all the way to hwy CC and turn left and follow to N. Marshall.

Ya had to park it here in Lawrence to pick up the free WIFI. I'll see you at the pull. You will be there right.
I figured I'd hook up with you GS and convoy unless you want to ride on the trailer.
Anyone think they might want a trialer there to get home on?

Any idea when diesels will pull at Marshfield?

dieselfreak21
05-16-2008, 02:02 PM
I will be there. Still deciding on if i will do my 1st virgine hook or not. thinking i might be asking for trouble with a stock turbo even with the tst turned down.

tristan21
05-16-2008, 06:27 PM
I'll be a spectator since the truck is still apart and no clutch yet. So I dont plan on breakin anything since I will be drivin the gaystang. I'll see ya there.

Last year Tree DR and I were there but it was real late when they pulled but that was last year so soon as I tell you not to show till late they will pull first. Lookin at the flyer though it shows the diesels pullin last. There are 10 classes so It might take a while. Its SMTTPA rules.

Tree DR
05-17-2008, 06:26 AM
I'll be there with my trailer so if you break I'll get you home. I probably won't get there before 8 or 9pm. If you happen to know T-21 that they are going to pull sooner call me I'm only 45mi away.

tristan21
05-17-2008, 06:56 AM
I'll try and ask around when I get there and get a round about time, but they never do since sometimes they really dont know. Its $5 to get in and 11 and under free.

Tree DR
05-18-2008, 09:05 AM

66 hooks and done by 11:30 @ Marshfield, I was impressed, they really kept it moving. Is the SMTTPA going to add a diesel class or was this just a one and done?

tristan21
05-19-2008, 09:51 AM
Im not sure who finshed where. It would be nice if SMTTPA would have the posted results up on there site.

It was good to place some faces to some names. Hope everybody gets a chance to make it to the Raymondville pull where I will actually get a chance to compete. Which reminds me I need to call and check on my clutch. I suppose I will need to get on the Show-Me Smokers site and see if I can determine the when and wheres of that pull.
