It's in !

I can't get it until Monday !

It arrived around 6:15 this evening, and Ben from Cornett Chrysler called me at 6:45. The truck was unable to be PDI'd as the Service Department closes at 5:00 pm.

I'm phoning in all my important application information in the morning so I'll be able to asap Monday morning !

Nine weeks to the day from day of order to day of receiving.

Six weeks since the sale of Casper; the wife's 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited CRD was an OK fix for the interim I guess.

I haven't seen the actual invoice as of yet, but the preliminary order sheet is as follows :

MSRP : $54,470
Invoice : $48,539

I ordered the truck $1,000 below invoice ($47,539) less the current rebates of $3,500.......so it was essentially $44,039 + tax......$10,431 below MSRP including discounts & rebates, excluding tax.

I was getting my AC blend door replaced yesterday and saw a new CTD 07 Mega 2500 with a 6 in lift, 20 in wheel and nitto tires. The suspension had Fox shocks. It was a BDF or S suspension I believe. Anyway $67,000. The tires stuck way out past the fenders. Probably a 4 in backspace. They really cranked the price up for those mods. The dealer had $300 plus for rear wheel liners and chrome exhaust tip.

generally whatever the mods cost the dealer they double the price. so if they payed the local 4x4 shop 6k they sell the mods for 12k.... then they give a discount on the mods of 6k and they just got full pop for the truck...happens allt he time.

O-Tay !

Just got Big Blue around 5:30 this evening.

On my 26 mile drive back home, I turned off BuzzSaw and just listened to the sweet sound of the exhaust brake with transmission in tow/haul on some serious hills. Those Michelins in the rear don't like Mr. Exhaust Brake on downshifts.

Very perty truck you must be thrilled? It's hard to imagine that you got out of the truck long enough to take and post pictures.

Congrats, Will you be camping in it in the drive way tonight? I would.

New truck smell is great arroma therapy.

Edit: don't for get to change your profile.

If you order a truck through Dodge (or any DC product for that matter) they put your name on the window sticker if it's a sold order.....kinda neat I thought.
