Truck died, no start?

I have a friend (not trucks on my singature) that has a 2000 dodge 2500 Auto trans (cummins engine), the truck has updated in tank lift pump, and he was accelerating and the truck just died, no black, only code is TPS, replaced tps still nothing? what would be other reason besides VP44 pump? if it is the VP pump what would the diagnostics be to tell if it is the injection pump? dose this generation (2000 24 valve) have a shut off solenoid?

What is his fuel pressure? Stock pump should kick to 10# or so with 1st key to run. If you're getting pressure to VP, CKP could stop the process. See Bluechip for VP diagnosis.
