Truck is at the dealer for the 2nd time in its life..

I can't complain. The truck has only been in to the dealer for warranty issues one other time, for a lift pump. I've recently developed a gnarly vibration in what seems to be one of the axles upon coming to a stop. Brakes are brand new, and everything was checked out by an independent shop, and they could not find anything out of place. The only thing they did not do was open up the diffs and see how they looked on the inside. I have a 7 yr 70k mile powertrain warranty, so hopefully if this is a major fix, all it will cost me is my $100 deductible. Service guy is already telling me to have reciepts ready to prove that I changed the diff fluid. I did change it about 20k miles ago, by myself, using Amsoil fluid... Hoping the purchase reciept is good enough for them....
Wish me luck.. Hopefully this dealer is not a pain in the rear.

Got a call from the dealer. Looks like it's gonna be covered. It was the rear driveshaft carrier bearing that went south. I do have to pay my deductible, but that was expected. Just glad it wasn't something worse! I will let ya'll know how it goes when I get the truck back, which should be today. I'll also get some pics of the new tires I just had put on yesterday!

You mean just the center carrier bearing? That's an easy fix! Lucky you!

yep, it was just the center carrier bearing. Cost me $100 for my extended warranty deductible, but the problem is solved.
