A couple days ago, I was driving home from edmonton, about a 3 hour drive, and I was burning down the highway alot faster than I probably should have been. Anyways, as I was going up a hill, I was watching my pyro, and as soon as I hit 1500 degrees, I let off the go pedal and drove normally up the rest of the hill. Well, as I was going down the other side, my go pedal wasnt working anymore, and my truck seemed like it would go good, then slow down a bit, then go some more, then slow down......

As soon as I noticed this, I pulled over to the side of the road, shut my rig down, and popped my hood. Nothing was leaking or looked out of place, so I jumped back in and it fired up fine. I just ignored this, as I figured it would be a one time thing.

Well, yesterday I was hauling a 32' pull along camper down the road, and on almost every single hill the truck would show the same symptoms. Every time I would pull over, shut it down, pop the hood, and nothing looked out of the ordinary. I am wondering, would this be my fuel shutoff solenoid acting up, or something else I am missing. This only happens whenever my truck seems to get really warm.

Problems like this are when a cab mounted fuel pressure gauge comes in handy.
