Truck arrival

Guys

good news my truck is scheduled to be shipped on Tuesday!

I am in the northeast...any estimate of time to dealer?

Dealer says 30 days...is that accurate or is he building in some fudge factor...seems long just to come up from Mexico?

Dave, the dealer is accurate on his timeline, because I have the priveledge of driving it through New Mexico first on its way to you, and I need to put it through its paces! Just kidding-enjoy the new truck!

I'm in the northeast also,, All my dealer can get for an answer is, in storage,, Tells me he is "hoping" for a delivery by the end of this month, On another thread, this site, a customer care number, which I did call, spent quite awhile before getting to a human being, and the answer there, was identical, in storage, I asked what does this mean,, while in shipment by train, is this in storage? No answer,, I know the truck has been built, I have the VON and VIN numbers, in storage doesn't do much for an answer,,, Truck was ordered sometime in the middle or third week in March,..

Mind was ordered on 3/22 and received 5/7 , but it was built in St Louis .
When the Dealer told me it was built and shipped he had no railcar number and could not predict delivery. The next week he was able to tell me arrival date and he was accurate. I'd say see your Dealer each week , he will be able to give you an update.

BgBlkTrk... After I get it out of Mexico and take it through Texas I will pass it off to you!! It will be "warmed up"

30 days does sound about correct.

OK, but just make sure you don't "warm up" the seat for me, if you know what I mean! That tends to get rid of the new truck smell pretty quickly

I assumed they were all Mexico production...how can you tell where it is built...Mexico or St. Louis...Tequila and Tacos or Budwieser and Ribs???

Is there a huge difference in delivery time depending on location?

I orderd mine on 4/3 and it was built on 4/21-22. I do stop by my dealer about twice a week to say hi and see the progress. Right now it is on a ship from mexico to Newark NJ. The orignal date for delervy was 5/15 and then it went to 5/23 after being placed on quality hold in mexico. Now it is 5/24 and my sales person said that some times they come a few days sooner. I sure hope so because I am borrowing a car form my work, a nissan dealer, because my tundra sold in two days and I thoguht that it would take much longer to sell. I wish everyone luck as I have heard stories of peoples truck being put on hold for months.

so in total from date of order to delivery at dealer how long did it take?

Also how long did it take from build date to delivery?

Anyone know how you can tell if the truck is built in Mexico or St. Louis?

Thanks

Anxious. Dave

the door sticker should say where it was assembled. the white one on driver door or inside of door can't remember where they are 4 sure. if not if its built in st. louis it will have a blue arch sticker in the bottom corner of the dirver side window. o and the st. louis trucks run better. hehe just kidn ya.
