the only reason i am asking this is because i have them both. the truck is a 2004.5 auto. i have the edge juice & monitor in the truck now and i was giong to install the tripple dog download in the truck too. i took the tripple dog out to put the jiuce on, and now i want to know if it would be a very smart choice to use them both or not. yes I am having the trans done very soon. it has a shift kit in it now. im not a real big fan of either of the two to be honest, but i just wanted too see what it would do before i bought the SMARTY!!!!

I think it may have too much timing. Not completely sure, but considering both use timing, it may be too much. Advanced timing is good, but TOO much timing advance can be a killer for your engine. I think that's right.....

I know that the edge adds timing, but I wasnt sure if or how much the tripple dog added. what is the factory timing at on the 2004.5 HO? and how much do these two each add.

I think the Triple Dog adds quite a bit on the higher settings. How much, I couldn't tell you exactly. I'm also not sure on the others either. I do know that there is a couple guys running the Juice/Attitude and the Diablo Sport Predator stacked. So I guess it may be okay. Maybe someone else will have some better info for you. I'd like to know as well.

Triple dog in the newer versions such as 2.4.1 is nothing but timing and lots of it, that isnt a very good stack a guy down the road just melted his motor down with that very combination and a mp8 on what he said was a low % but im sure it was at a 100% (competitor shop). Triple dog stacks well with a pressure box and a few degrees added but nowhere near what the edge adds.

im not for sure which version it is, i bought the tripple dog from a friend , he bought it new when he bought his 2004.5. now i have it. so if they both add timing, then it is a bad idea, right? what is best to stack with the edge? pressure box? same with the tripple dog it sounds like? not real good at this common rail stuff yet, been spending too much time w/ the 12v.

Josh, STAND CLEAR OF STACKING THOSE TWO! I just went threw a long search cause i was running that stack and no good replies so i pulled the bullydog tonight! As for how it runs, strong but will rattle your teeth out from all the timing, very very very scarey! and another guy i talked to said he ran it and liked it a year ago but 20,000 miles later he had to put a motor in it because of it. So IMO dont chance it. I have heard the smarty on "odds" no timing is good. Debating on trying it, just might unlock the "HOT". But yea from experience dont stack the two man!
