Tripple Dog or Dead Battery?

So my batteries were dead. No juice left. Turns out the cap on my remote jumper cable thing, got water in it and shorted out the battery.

So I finally got the trunk cranked after about 30 minutes of charging off a duramax.

I noticed that when i gave it a little throttle to up the RPM to charge it, the response was very slow. After a few minutes I put it into gear and got no power, I could push the petal to the floor and would maybe get a few RPMs out of it. I was on a very subtle hill, barely enough to make the truck roll, and hitting the throttle would not increase the rate of roll down the hill.

I had crazy larry loaded on the BDTD. I noticed that i had a bunch of codes thrown. The only one that the TD listed was some ECU COM error. I have the rest written down, but i left it in the truck.

I uninstalled the program and then flashed all the codes. The truck worked fine after that.

My question is do yall think it was the programmer or just the ECU having to reset itself after having no power for a while?
