Transmission Shift Lever
Having a problem with my shift selector. im haveing a problem with it going into park, it will be in park but for me to get the electronic selector to say park i have to slam it into park a couple times and it is getting annouying. does anyone know of an adjustment?

i wouldn't call it an adjustment but there is a bit of play in how it slides over the shaft, outside of the transmission there, i had the same problem, if you loosen it off and maybe hold pressure on it, in the way it needs to go while you tighten it, you should be good. if not, let us know. or maybe your neutral safety switch is acting up? its the square lil electronic box deal right around the same area. ds, up above the pan.

Easiest adjustment is put it in park and bend the bracket that holds the shifter cable on the trans. They flex over time and get a little bit out. A couple of moderate taps and move it a little at a time will usually align things again. You can also adjust the cable length uder the dash.
