Question Transmission help?

Ok guys here is the new dillema, one of our 2001 Dodge dually 4x4's automatic transmission started slipping in all gears including overdrive today. This has been the fourth transmission in this truck done by the same shop. Is there something in the transmission that the shop is not fixing properly? What would cause the slipping? Maybe bands? The fluids looks good and red no burnt smell. The last rebuild was about almost 2 years ago. It shouldnt of gone this quick should it?

Im not pulling heavy loads nor am I running the truck up on high power levels. The TST is always set on 5 without a load and 3 with a load. Im confussed
Any input on my tranny problems and fixes would be greatly appreciated!!!

It sounds like they struck out , & you gave them more than enough tries .
You should get your money back and go with a known shop , my 1st choice is Dave Goerend .

If a clutch is slipping, the material will be in pan. The fluid may not show contamination due to filtering of it. It sounds like rear clutch is letting go.If it is slipping you have clutches burning. Do you still have reverse?
On your repairmans side: it has been two years with some power modifications to engine. Generally when you see a repeat failure the repairman is not adequatelly aware of operation of components and misses a very small but important repair or replacement item.

Also if everything, including the transmission cooler, has not been flushed/replaced then contaminated fluid will still get back into the transmission. If you're killing these and the dirty oil is getting back in, you're not doing your new transmission any good.

Careful there. A valve body that isn't up to par with that torque converter and it'll die just as quick, if not quicker...

It already has a good valve body from SunCoast.
