What transmission is AS68RC?

Does anyone know what transmission this AS68RC is? I thought I have the 68RFE in my pick up and I hope that's the case since it has Amsoil ATF in it, now. If not the 68RFE, then maybe

I have been told by a trans guy that the AS68RC is the Aisin trans that is used the the C&C's aka cab/chassis. The 68RFE is the trans Dodge used your 2007 pickup.

Is you truck a Cab & Chassis or a normal pickup with the pickup box? If its a pickup then it has a 68RFE which takes ATF+4, if you truck is a Cab & Chassis then it needs the Mopar AS68RC fluid for the Aisin 6sp auto

Correct -

the Dodge 6sp 68RFE is a heavy-duty upgrade of the 5sp 545RFE in the Hemi trucks, is equipped behind the 6.7 in the 2500-3500 pickup series - is pretty much auto-shift, similar to the 48RE behind the 5.9's

the Aisin 6sp AS68RC is equipped behind the 6.7 in the cab'n'chassis series - can be manually-shifted in most, maybe all, of the gear ranges

I was told by a Chrysler engineer that the Aisin was primarily designed to be used behind the largest Cummins powered street sweeper made and used initially in Europe. He said that the sweeper they designed it for was something like 17,000 pounds empty....that's easily over double the weight of a 3500 dually.
