transgo issues

Well I decided to do the transgo shift kit and some of the other various parts(acc pistons etc). Now I can barely get the truck to start. The dash doesnt show an indication of park, but it is in park(verified by turning the driveshaft in which it wouldnt but did in other positions),the kit itself went in fine and there were no other big issues to report.I called transgo and their CS sucks. He told me I needed to have the dealer adjust the shift cable and that it was way above my capabilities,as I told him this wasnt an issue before the install he proceded to tell me it was.So now I dont have a running truck,no wait to start light,2 codes in which I cleared(trans throttle valve position sensor circuit low and trans fluid pressure low(i have a code reader)),going from park thru 1 it doesnt show what gear its in(1,R,D are the only ones that show the box around the indicators).Pretty ****** right now and ready to toss all the stuff I just put on into the trash and just stay stock.Anyone have any suggestions or insite that will get me going before I burn the thing to the ground!!

sorry but your out to lunch...
shift indicator is adjusted under dash, remove lower dash cover and turn white plastic screw to adjust.

truck not starting is a safety neutral switch its non adjustable, more likely you pulled one of the wires slightly out..

yarding out a shift kit because of poor cs is just silly, as from what you have posted the shift kit is not at fault.

no wait to start light is not related to a shift kit, usually it indicates a failing ecm (or its too warm out and your wait to start wont come on anyway)

if the truck does not run how can you say the instal is good?

First off I always get a wait to start light even if for just a couple of seconds.Second it starts, just not how it used too.If I turn the key on and then try to start it wont, but if I go from off right to start it fires off.As for the under dash adjustment the gearshift cable adjustment doesnt list a white screw so could you direct me towards that adjustment since you know of it.And yes I can ***** about a shift kit if the manufacturer doesnt help to solve issues that arise, and I have seen a bunch when it comes down to the shift kits.

Are you sure the electrical plugs are hooked up???
The shift cable is disturbed to get the VB out so it must be checked at install!
Where are you located?

with an attitude like you came on here with IMHO it is not a customer service issue but maybe a customer attitude issue!! I have installed several thousand transgo kits and was on there tech service for a few years also and found them VERY knowledgeable. it sounds like other issues than just the kit install so you MIGHT want to do more listening and less talking.
