Question transgo 48 re kit question

I know everyone recommends a full valve body install instead of a kit. I am installing this in my '03 HO. The instructions about the new seperator plate says to drill near the acc to .096 for snow plow ONLY. It also says to make A and B .106. Is this only for snow plow only also? It does not make sense to drill the new seperator plate for all applications, (why didn't they do it for me?) So any one that installed the 48re transgo kit, did you drill the new seperator plate? And yes I am trying to save $350, I have rebuilt many 727 with shift kits and trans brake installs and they always worked fine.
Thanks

I drilled out A and B when i did one on my stock tranny but not the snow plow. here in miami FL, a plow will get a few funny looks. Have fun trying to get the c-clip back on the rooster arm when putting it back into the truck. What a PITA! keep a good eye on it when it goes flinging across the garage!
