Transfer Case Question

I was changing my oil today on the 03, when I noticed that there had been fluid coming out of the transfer case. It was mainly concentrated around a 7/8" plug at the bottom, so I put a wrench to it to tighten it up. When I did that it sheared the plug off and a spring and what looks like a bullet, for lack of a better word, dropped out. I have been to all the auto parts stores around here and no luck. Is this the normal drain plug that I broke? If not what is it?

Thanks for the quick reply. That diagram really helps as well.

So I'm guessing just get the part and put it in and refill with gear fluid and I should be good to go?

The transfer case does not take "gear fluid". The transfer case uses ATF IV fluid.
