Transfer case leaking..
I've got the NP241 DLD (long slip shaft)
The problem I'm having is that its leaking from both outputs, and I suspect between the transmission & transfer case.
I pulled the yoke off the front output today and the shaft is scored as hell...found that CR makes a speedi-sleeve so I'm getting one of those tomorrow. I quickly found the input shaft seal, and the output shaft seal for the transmission.
The only seal I cannot find is the correct one for the rear output of the transfer case. The one thats in the truck has a large dust boot around it - and all of the aftermarket ones I get do not contain the big dust boot..what gives?
Is this a dealer only part?
Its probably very important that the dust seal is there and I cannot find any numbers stamped on the one in the truck.
Since I've got the truck apart to put the ConFE I figured I would fix all of those pesky leaks...
