I've been reading and cant really search for the right answers, but this is for anyone who has installed their tranny temp gauage without buying the 94-95 hot line....the ones who just installed it in the hot line on their own...my questions are how you did it, what parts did you use and where did you get them? .. i want to go the route with compression fittings, but idk what size to get is it 3/8 or 1/2.... etc..any help is appreciated..thanks in advance

i found the only way i could install it correctly was with a 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/8 iron pipe T fitting and have the sending unit directly in the fluid flow and not have any flow restriction !
got fitting at large pluming supply !
this t is larger dia at point sending unit enters so there is no restriction !
i had to use 4 hose clamps and 2 brass hose fittings and 2 4in pieces of transmition hose though ?
