I just bought a 250k mile 1995 4x4 dodge dulley with a auto trans. It has a 2004 mopar auto trans sticker on the trans. the guy i bought it from said the tranny had 50k on it, my questions are, 1. it will not go all the way in overdrive unless you are going atleast 50 mph and put it to the floor but when you let off a little it goes back between 3rd and overdrive. what would u check, will driving it this way mess the tranny up, 2. it seems the speedo is off about 5 to 10 mph, can i calibrate it? How? 3. also it idles about 900 rpms is this high, how u adujust it? other than that I LOVE IT!

i checked the tps and .07 without it, and when i pluged it up it jumped to 26 then when you mash the pedel it goes to 30 so is it bad?

i fixed the problem with an adjustable tps, let the trans shift into od early with out a load and can change it to shift later with a load. and i dont even use a wrench! and thanks for all of the replys!
