Trans Shop in Phoenix?

Looks like it's time to get a built transmission. Still undecided on who to go with (HTS, DTT, Goerend, etc), but in the mean time, I need to find a trans shop in Arizona that can do the install/work for me.

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with shops in the Phoenix area? I actually live in the East Valley and would prefer a shop on that side of town if possible.

Thx!
Steven

If you go the DTT route, Fred Swanson is in Phoenix...he's an authorized DTT installer...he's on the west side 303/i10....he can do a parts install in a day...

I love my HTS and would not consider anything else as long as dusty is in business that is the only trans that will ever be in my truck nuff said! but if a local guy sells DTT it may be beneficial to establish a relationship , go talk to him then post back, might as well see what he has to offer regarding his setup parts and labor . I personally would buy from HTS and have someone do your install !

If I was going to get a new transmission I would at least talk to these guys. I'm not saying I wouldn't get a Goerend or HTS or DTT, but I'd at least talk to these guys. They don't show a 48RE on their web site, but I can't imagine they wouldn't do it for you.

Appreciate all the responses so far. Open to other suggestions. Will be a week or two before I make a final decision.
