Exclamation trans question

after letting my truck sit for three or more days, the first time i put it in gear it just revs the engine and goes nowhere, but about three seconds later its just like normal and slowly goes in to gear, what could this be?

Torque converter draining fluid back to the pan. Just let it idle in drive for a little bit before you take off.

I actually recommend idling in Neutral. Many transmissions don't seem to lube in Park well.

hi
fluid will not fill convertor in park , put it in N for app 20 sec befor selecting gears , OR get a transgo tfod-diesel kit for the valve body and install it then your trany will flow fluid in park also pluss much better / more positive shifting and lower trans temp .
your trany will love it and lastmuch longer !
