Unhappy Trans Problem

2001.5 with AT. I changed fluid, filter and adjusted bands 3 weeks ago. Truck ran and towed great for the 3 weeks. Now the trans is slipping (engine revs) when pulling out from stop. At idle in Drive the trans is basicly shifting in and out of engagement. Put the trans in 1st with the selector and pull out there is no slippage. Also when coming down from high gear, just befor you come to a complete stop, its like you hit the brakes. Its a minor jolt but its there just as the wheels stop turning. Help please...else its a trip to the $$dealer$$...

Thanks

Tim

Further diagnosis is the truck is pulling out in 2nd gear. The jolt at idle is switching between 1st and 2nd.

Hip shot: Go to the dealer and purchase a new gov psi transducer and solenoid. Sounds like you are in limp in mode.
